The fastest way is in the app — it deletes immediately:
- Open the DeBands app and sign in.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm.
Can't sign in? Email privacy@debands.xyz from your account email address and we'll delete it for you.

Remove specific data without deleting your account
Prefer to keep your account but remove certain information? You can:
- Edit or clear it yourself in the app — your profile photo, bio, name, links, and social handles under Edit profile; your visibility under Privacy & Visibility; and individual chats via delete/clear conversation.
- Ask us to remove it — email privacy@debands.xyz from your account email, telling us what to remove. For example: your profile photo, message history, connection history, or location.
What happens to your data
Deleted
When you delete your account, we remove your profile, photos, links, connections, messages, and settings from our active systems.
Kept for a limited time
Physical DeBand wristbands are unlinked (not destroyed) so they can be reactivated by you or a future owner. Some records may be retained where required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or accounting reasons, and are then deleted. Backups are purged on our normal rotation.
Timeline
In-app deletion is immediate. Emailed requests are completed within 30 days; we'll confirm by email once done.
